Countdown: 3 days to takeoff

I was hoping to have this page beautifully formatted before I left for Sydney, but that's unlikely to happen given my current state of readiness. So this will simply have to do for now. This blog is my way of keeping in touch with a mass number of people without spending all of my time writing letters. Check for updates about what I'm up to and to see the many, many pictures I'm sure to take with my brand new digital camera. Entries will likely be few and far between, or just very very short, for a while, since I'm busy getting ready and will have very limited internet access when I first arrive in Sydney.
