Gryphon Girl In Canada
Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore: "Passengers looking for their didgeridoos please head to the desk"
I'm back. I don't entirely comprehend what that means. I've been up since 7:00am December 20th Sydney time, with nothing but a lot of food and a few random hours of sleep, mostly on my Qantas flight, to sustain me. That and the adrenalin or whatever it's been rushing through me during the journey. I now need to adjust my clock to accept the fact that it is actually just past 11:30pm on December 20th. While half asleep on the plane, I figured out (rather unreliably) that December 20th will have lasted nearly 40 hours for me. That International Date Line works miracles. I'm currently on Lianne's computer in her residence at Laurier. The poor girl had an exam when my flight was scheduled to arrive.
It felt so undescribably good to get off the plane and have people there waiting for me. I've been travelling so long without that. I cried. Only because Ching did.
I need to get home to bed. MY bed.
