Ok, so it didn't actually hit anyone. But we were in an outdoor courtyard having lunch on campus yesterday when suddenly a branch came crashing down and landed right over a bench that someone could quite possibly have been sitting on. It was a little shocking.

We saw galahs in a palm tree on campus. Palm tree on campus. My mom liked that phrase. We also saw what I can now identify as a yellow-tailed black cockatoo. Actually, there was a pair. I finally went out and bought a bird guide. So I now know that we saw a noisy miner bird on the way to the bookstore. I'd like to see some wildlife other than birds. It's weird, no squirrels or anything running around.
