Odd Math

Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore: Rugby, not hockey, means the channel changes NOW.

The Simpsons was pushed aside for Queensland vs NSW. I think. The Aussie national anthem is pretty and this game looks painful.

How can it cost the same amount of money to send someone a postcard as it does to talk to them on the phone for an hour? This is only approximate math and depends on the price of the postcard. I have a phone card that lets me call Canada for 2.8 cents/minute. This same phonecard lets me make a call within Australia for 9.9 cents/minute. Something to do with the location of their towers, ie. in Canada rather than Australia.

Because it's warm in the common room and freezing outside, I'm going to curl up and learn to love rugby.
