Panic!
Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore: If your grade says 'D', you're happy.
Momentary panic picking up my Mythology assignment. Must remember that 'D' stands for 'distinction', and that only 'HD', or high distinction, would have been better. And that with the mark scaling at this place, almost nobody gets a high distinction. And my percent grade was exactly what I thought it should be. So end panic.
I think I need to follow Vikki's lead and take a "me" day. Just curl up at home alone for a day with a good book and forget about the rest of the world. Not because there's anything wrong with it, but because I've been terribly oversaturated by it. Tuesday evening was Scottish dance as usual, but because of the Verge Arst Festival, it was an open workshop. A whole 2 new people showed up. One was Ching's friend Vanessa, a German exchange student in one of her classes. She's mentioned her quite a few times. Imagine my surprise when I walked into class and there was the German exchange student from my Marine Science class, whose name I remembered for a grand total of 2 minutes and never needed to know in order to chat for 2 minutes before the lecturer started talking. Ching was a little confused when I went right up to Vanessa and said "hey, how are you?" without an introduction. So now I know her name, which is good because she's a total sweetheart and is probably going to start coming to dance.
I really need to stop starting entries when I know there's not much time before class starts. Good thing I'm close to my classroom!

I wonder if there's an "E" and an "F". Wouldn't it be funny to go to a grading system where "F" stands for Fantastic, "E" stands for Excellent, "D" stands for Done, "C" stands for Crusty, "B" stands for Bad, and "A" stands for Arse?

The grades are HD, D, CR (credit) or a fail, which I'm guessing is still an F. Although your backwards system is pretty funny.
LOL
I really did just laughed out loud. I'm trying not to notice any weird looks from every one else in the computer lab.
